See How Don Jazzy Wished D’banj Happy Birthday

On Tuesday, June 9, 2015 was the 35th birthday of music star and DB Records boss, D’banj.

Across social media, the Kokomaster got tons of birthday wishes from fans and colleagues all over the world. But perhaps the most notable came from his former partner, Don Jazzy.

Don Jazzy sent a birthday shout-out to Dbanj on Twitter, writing:

Shout out to @iamdbanj aka bangalee. Happy birthday bro. Have all the fun in the world. God bless you. #ItisReal #IDJA

It’s already 3 years since the duo parted ways in 2012 with the dissolution of their jointly owned record label, Mo’hits. At the time of filing this report, however, D’banj is yet to respond to the message from Don Jazzy or that of any other well wisher.

Remembering Popular Gospel Singer, Kefee One Year After

By ‘Dayo Showemimo
(Like a bolt from the blue, Kefee went into a coma while on a plane to the US and she never recovered from it. She was pronounced dead on June 12, 2014. Photo: Filed)
Today, June 12, 2015 marks the 1st year anniversary of the death of late gospel singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh who was died of lung failure in a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday, June 12, 2014 after being in coma for 15 days. The popular singer born Irikefe Obareki, was eventually buried on July 11, 2014 in her native Delta State. Until her death last year, which was too devastating and sudden for fans and colleagues, Kefee was an award winning Nigerian musician born in Sapele, Delta State to the family of Andrew Obareki. Kefee graduated from University of Benin with a degree in Business Administration and in 2000, released an album titled Trip which went a long way in paving the way for her as far as the Nigerian music scene in concerned. In 2003, she got signed to Alec’s Entertainment, a record label founded by her former choir director and subsequently released the album containing her unforgettable smash hit tune, ‘Branama‘ which was named after the single, shortly afterwards. Kefee was married twice before her death; she was married to Alec Godwin, her former choir director and producer for 3 years until 2008. However, for the more than one year of her life on earth, she got married to popular Radio host, Teddy Esosa Don-Momoh on March 3, 2013 in Delta state. 8 months after her death, precisely on Thursday, February 5, 2015, a post humous album was launched at a special memorial service in honour of the late singer. The new 12-track album is titled Blessed and was deliberately released on her birthday, February 5, 2015 as she’s always done in her lifetime, according to her husband.

Trying to keep the faith and carry on her legacy by wrapping up projects she was working on and initiating others, her husband’s tweet today reads:

Comfortable Food

By Ben Rayl :

Making The Perfect Roast Beef is probably easier than you might think.  And it's SO delicious.
I found this amazing piece of beef at the grocery store and decided it was the perfect time to make some delicious roast beef. Making a perfect roast is super-easy—just make sure you get a good cut of beef, season it properly, and pay attention to your oven temperature, and it will come out great. I always sear my roast in a skillet before baking it—I love it crispy on the outside and I think it really helps trap the juices inside.
Be sure to use an oven thermometer to make sure the beef is cooked to the appropriate temperature. Don’t rely just on the given oven times—everyone’s ovens are different, and you want to slice into a perfect roast.
I love roast beef au jus, with horseradish sauce and my very easy Yorkshire Pudding—perhaps it’s my British ancestry, or maybe I’m just a traditionalist.

*Is this food rally a comfortable food here in Nigeria?
